1. Information We Collect

KeroTools processes all images, and most PDF tools, entirely locally in your browser — those files are not uploaded, stored, or accessed. A few PDF tools that cannot run in the browser process on our own server; see section 5 for exactly how those are handled. We do not collect personal information unless you voluntarily provide it through our contact form.

We may collect anonymous usage analytics (page views, tool usage counts) to improve our service. This data cannot identify individual users.

2. How We Use Information

Any information collected is used solely to improve the quality of our service, respond to inquiries, and maintain platform security. We do not sell, trade, or rent personal information to third parties.

3. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for site functionality and analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. Third-party advertising partners may use cookies to serve relevant advertisements. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

4. Advertising and Third-Party Services

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements and Google Analytics for usage statistics. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies — including the DART cookie — to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

5. PDF Tools and Server Processing

All image tools and most PDF tools (merge, split, rotate, delete pages, watermark, sign, OCR, and compress) run entirely in your browser, so those files are never uploaded.

A few PDF tools that cannot run in a browser — currently PDF to Word and Word to PDF — process on our own server. For these, your file is uploaded over an encrypted HTTPS connection, converted, and returned to you, then deleted immediately after processing. These files are not stored, logged, backed up, or shared, and are never used for any other purpose. Each such tool is clearly labelled in its interface.

6. Data Security

Files handled by our in-browser tools are never transmitted over the internet. For the server-based PDF tools, transfers use encrypted HTTPS and files are removed right after processing. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect any information collected through our website.
